Online 3 Card Poker
The online version of 3 Card Poker is really no different from the land casino game. The only difference, of course, is that in a land based casino the player is betting against the dealer while online the "dealer" is the computer so you are betting against your computer.
3 Card Poker Bets
Bets are still placed before the "deal". The player and the "dealer" each receive three cards, and the player can choose to play only "pair plus" or only "ante and play" or both games simultaneously.
The system remains the same: in "pair plus" winnings do not depend on the dealer's hand. To receive a payout, the player only needs to hold a pair or better.
In the "ante and play" the player does bet against the dealer. If he feels that his hand is better than the dealer's (online - the computer's), he makes an additional bet or raise equal to his first, or ante, bet. The highest hand then wins.
Payouts are made according to the following hand rankings:
- Straight Flush
- 3 of a Kind
- Straight
- Flush
- Pair
- Ace High
- King High
- Queen High
- The Straight Flush is very difficult to get in 3 Card Poker which is why it is the highest hand.
With today's enhanced computer technology, online casino games are almost as exciting as land based casino games. The audio and graphics are extremely lifelike with bright colors, pop-ups and casino-like sounds.
Online Flash 3 Card Poker
Online 3 Card Poker can be played with the standard downloaded program version or the flash version
Flash 3 Card Poker simply means that the game is played directly off the Internet without the necessity to download a game program. Many online casino players prefer the flash mode. All you need is to be sure your computer has flash technology enabled. You will find that the graphics are brighter and the game is faster, but otherwise it is exactly the same as the downloaded version.
