Stick To Your Three Card Poker Strategy
The first playing tip for optimal three card poker playing is that it is important to stick to a given strategy. The only way any benefit can be derived from a mathematical strategy is to stick with the three card poker strategy through thick and thin. Straying from the strategy might seem like it works some of the time but this is only an issue of being lucky or not. Therefore, straying from the strategy must inevitably lead to worse statistics than those derived from sticking to the three card poker strategy.
Rules Variations in Three Card Poker
Despite possessing good strategies, winning statistics can vary from casino to casino due to slight rules variations for three card poker which exist between casinos. Since some of these rules provide more or less favorable odds for the player, it is worth checking the rules before playing and perhaps choosing the casino which offers the best odds. The first thing to consider is the payouts for the pairplus game. This involves simply looking at the three card poker payout table and could be very important particularly as there is a great deal of variation in these tables between casinos. As for the Ante and Play rules, such things as rules governing what happens in a tie and how much is won on various bonus hands are of particular significance and can easily serve to modify certain fine points of the basic strategy. As a rule, the basic strategy provides a relatively large degree of losses from losing to the dealer but compensates for this with the various bonuses that can be won.
Tipping in Three Card Poker
A side bet which can sometimes be placed is that the dealer will win rather than the player in three card poker. This is known as tipping the dealer. It is theoretically possible to influence the tip bet by playing badly. In most cases this means losing the main bet but if the ratio between tipping bet and play bet is good enough, it might be possible for a tipping bet to be worth it.
